This kennel is absolutely wonderful! There’s so much space for the dogs to run and play, and the large yard is a huge bonus. The staff are incredibly kind and clearly love what they do—they made me feel completely at ease leaving my pets in their care. Communication was excellent from start to finish, with regular updates and quick responses to any questions.

The cat area is just as impressive—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully set up. The cats have plenty of toys and each one gets free range of the cat room individually, which I really appreciated. It’s clear that every animal is treated with care and attention. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe, friendly, and well-run kennel!

I’m beyond impressed with the care my three dogs received at this boarding facility! My poodle and very anxious Yorkie were able to stay together in the same kennel, which really helped ease my Yorkie’s nerves. The staff were so understanding and gentle with her, which meant the world to me. My Rottie had her own space and looked so relaxed and happy when I picked her up. It’s clear the team here truly loves and understands dogs of all types. I felt totally confident leaving them, and I’ll absolutely be bringing them back next time!

I was nervous about boarding my dog for the first time because she’s a non-social belgian malinois/heeler mix. She is generally very sweet but doesn’t like other dogs and takes time to warm up to people in new environments. The staff were gracious enough to put up with all my initial questions and give me a walk through of the facility. She came back to me in one piece and it looks like she had a of of fun from the video they posted on social media. THANK YOU for everything. I will absolutely recommend and use your services again.

This is my second time taking my pups to Country Kennels. My first experience was in need of a kennel due to a death in the family. My go to kennel never returned my call so I started to look through the kennels in our area. You know when you are researching and you get that feel good moment. Well I did, gave them a call. Unfortunately they only had room for one of my pups. That I could work with. Booked in Shadow. Upon drop off I was given a tour and completely fell in love with the place. Staff are amazing and the country setting with all the space for my dogs to run. I recommend this kennel to anyone that is in need of excellent care. For me it is a 2 hour round trip but worth it. Ask about perks which today are few and far between. Country Kennels has a customer for life. Thank you to the management and staff for being excellent care givers.

We used Country Kennels for our dog on a recent family vacation. They were easy to book our dog’s stay and they gave us a tour of their kennel. We feel that our dog was well looked after and their rates were reasonable. Our dog was taken for walks and if you wanted photos were posted on the web site for you to check out. If you wanted to talk to them while you are away they would respond and answer your questions.

This was our first experience with Country Kennels and it absolutely won’t be our last. We needed someone to take care of our two dogs while we took a short notice trip to NS for a family emergency. We had a lot to worry about and we needed to know our dogs were exercised, safe, and content. After a quick tour we felt confident our two large dogs would be well cared for. We were forced to extend our trip for 3 days and it wasn’t a problem, even when they ran out of our food, the Country Kennels team ensured our dogs were fed and cared for every step of the way. We are so thankful for their flexibility and genuine care for our animals. It was like sending them to summer camp, and we could tell immediately they were in good hands. They had a blast and we have peace of mind when life happens and we need to travel. Thank you to the entire Country Kennels team!!
